Kick off the holiday shopping season with the Johnson County Center for the Arts’ 7th Annual Reindeer Run, a festive community tradition paired with Small Business Saturday.

Beginning Saturday, November 22, participants can pick up a Reindeer Run game board and visit local businesses throughout Thanksgiving week to collect stamps (no purchase required). After collecting six or more stamps, return the completed board to the Gallery on Main by 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 29 to be entered to win one of several $100 grand prizes.

Throughout the week, participating shops will offer specials, treats, and door prizes. Highlights include mulled cider and free gifts at Mountain View Nursery, and refreshments, face painting, 10% off on Small Business Saturday at Mink Crafts. and a 15% discount at Nalley’s Shirt Shop with your game board. The Gallery on Main will feature an epic hot chocolate bar and free clay ornament making on November 29.

Game boards are available in the November 19 issue of The Tomahawk, at the Gallery on Main, and at all participating businesses beginning on Friday, November 21.
