Chuck Brodsky Concert
Join us at The Jackson Theatre on Saturday, January 24, at 7 p.m. for an evening with acclaimed singer-songwriter and storyteller Chuck Brodsky.
A modern-day troubadour, Chuck Brodsky is known for his finely crafted songs and engaging stories that celebrate underdogs, everyday heroes, and the quietly profound. His performances blend humor, honesty, and warmth, often poking fun at what needs poking while staying rooted in truth.
Over the past 29 years, Brodsky has performed at festivals and concert halls across the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has appeared three times at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, with 22 of his baseball story songs preserved in the Hall of Fame’s sound recording library.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Brodsky fell in love with music at an early age and developed a songwriting style influenced by artists such as Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Jackson Browne, and Bruce Springsteen. His songs have appeared in films and television, including “Radio, Jews and Baseball: An American Love Story” and “Richie Ashburn: A Baseball Life,” and have been recorded by artists such as Kathy Mattea and David Wilcox.
Brodsky’s most recent album, Gravity, Wings, and Heavy Things, continues his tradition of thoughtful storytelling and character-driven songwriting.
Don’t miss this intimate evening of music and stories with Chuck Brodsky at The Jackson Theatre.
