Cruise the River
A 2-hour experience riding one of the Bruno Bikes’ wood-frame bicycles along the North Fork of the Holston River and hangout at Creek Island along the River. Wade in the river at Creek Island. Creek Island is a hub where you can ride to the Gardner Century Farm, Homeplace of writer Ann Goode, Carter Fold (home place of the Carter Family), Lundsford Mill, Mount Vernon Church, all scenic rides along the river or through the adjacent hills.
- Available at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm September 21-23, 2018. Group of 6 or more, can have a special tour time.
- Cost is $15.00/person; $5.00 for children.
Guided Ride and Tour of Gardner Farm
A 1.5-hour guided tour experience riding one of Bruno Bikes’ wood-frame bicycles along the North Fork of the Holston River, stop at the Gardner Century Farm and ride to the Carter Fold, if you are ambitious. Learn about life on the river from the turn of the century through the Great Depression.
- Available at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm September 21-23, 2018. Group of 6 or more, can have a special tour time.
- Cost is $10.00/person; $5.00 for children.
