Greeneville: Lyrics on the Lawn

Main Street Greeneville’s Summer Concert Series celebrates ten years with the
third show of 2023 on Thursday, July 20 at 7:00 pm. The FREE concert will be
held on the lawn of the Dickson-Williams Mansion in the heart of downtown
Greeneville, Tennessee. The concerts take place each Thursday evening in
July. This week’s concert and the third of the season will open with Moon bs
Venus followed by headliner Wyldeheart. The opening act will begin at 7 with
intermission scheduled for 7:45 and the headliner taking the stage at 8. The
event is scheduled rain or shine on the lawn of the mansion. Severe weather
may force a cancellation so stay tuned to all forms of media for updates.

Moon vs Venus BIO
Moon Vs Venus is new music from E Moon and Franky B that is simply out of this
world.  Experimental music combining elements of rock, blues, jazz, funk and
hip-hop into a wonderful mix of cosmic bliss.  Joining the band for the
performance will be pianist, Glenn Rasmussun and drummer Isrial Weaver.
They are based out of Greeneville, TN.  www.cityfarmrecords.com

Wyldeheart BIO
WyldeHeart, widely considered the region’s top multi genre party band, hails from
Bristol Tennessee.  When founded in 2014, the band’s mission was simple;
entertain everyone regardless of age or genre preference!  Fans of all ages are
regularly entertained with Rock, Country, Pop, Dance, Funk, and Rap hits
spanning multiple decades!

The Loafer says, “Local favorites’ WyldeHeart is considered one of the best party
bands in the region, and the band delivers a diverse set-list to their shows that’s
guaranteed to leave their audiences happy.”

The Johnson City Press writes, “WyldeHeart formed in 2014 and is one of the
region’s top party bands.”

In 2020, WyldeHeart was Josie Music Award Finalists for Group of the Year
(Multi-Genre) and Entertainer of the Year (Group).

They have headlined the Bristol Motor Speedway NASCAR Fan Zone, Clinch
River Days Festival, Carolina Pushrod, The World-Famous Roland and Martin

Tiki Bar in Clewiston, FL, and the Roan Mountain Independence Day Festival.
Most recently the band has performed regularly at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in
Gatlinburg, and they have also shared the stage with Wynonna Judd at the
World-Famous Cotton Eyed Joe in Knoxville, TN.

The band currently consists of Marques Puckett (Lead Vocalist), Mike Eldreth
(Bass), Ric Burns (Drums) and Randy Bettis (Lead Guitar) and has the support of
more than 7,000 loyal social media followers!

Food Available
On-site event food vendors for this concert include Creamy Cup, Hix BBQ, and
Main Street Greeneville. More vendors to be added throughout the series.
Food service is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm. Note: Creamy Cup, Hix BBQ
and Others will locate across the street from the mansion. Main Street
Greeneville will be located near the stage selling water and popcorn. Other
options can be from the downtown area merchants. Cumberland Presbyterian
Church plans to set-up dining tables and chairs near the food vendors for guests
to enjoy.

Family Friendly
The Lyrics on the Lawn concerts are family friendly and open to all. Folks are
encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. You are welcome to bring a picnic
supper. The event is Smoke Free with a designated area. The event is not
permitted for alcohol. Please note pets are welcome, however they must remain
within the designated Fido Friendly area at the top of the hill during the event.

Donations Welcome
Although the concerts are free to attend, donations are welcomed by Main Street:
Greeneville, a non-profit 501c3 organization. Donations collected at the concerts
help to defray series expenses. Jann Mirkov, Main Street’s Executive Director
stated, “Words can’t express how thankful we are to those that donate to our

program. As a non-profit, we rely on the generosity of those in our community to
support our efforts to revitalize our downtown. We thank everyone for their
generous donations.”

The Lyrics on the Lawn series was created by Main Street: Greeneville in co-
operation with the Dickson-Williams Historical Association to showcase regional
musical talent.

The Dickson-Williams Mansion is located at 108 North Irish Street, adjacent to
the General Morgan Inn in the heart of historic downtown Greeneville, TN.
Mansion tours leaving from the hotel lobby are offered daily at 1:00pm
July 27 th Lineup opens with The Color 7 followed by headliner The Whiskey
