It’s back! The 13th Annual Historic Blountville Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in downtown Blountville, Tennessee. The Heritage Festival will begin at 9 a.m and run through 4 p.m. The festival will include arts and crafts, live music, food vendors, bouncies and more! Live music will be presented throughout the day.
This year’s event will open at 9 a.m. with music from the band “Shooter”, a Country and Rock band that hails from the Tri-Cities area of Northeast Tennessee. The group is known for its highly diverse repertoire. At 1 p.m., “The Notorious Nomadz Band” will provide music throughout the afternoon. The Nomadz have been called the most versatile band in the Southwest Virginia and East Tennessee area. Each member of the band is a musician and a vocalist in the tradition of The Beatles and The Band. They’ve been compared to The Grateful Dead, Metropolitan Blues Allstars and Goose Creek Symphony. The Nomadz has a unique sound that is a mix of favorite covers and their original tunes.
Food vendors will offer a wide array of food with everything from barbeque ribs, barbeque chicken, pulled pork, deep fried oreos and moon pies, hot dogs, hamburgers, pork skins, snow cones, kettle corn, chili cheese fries and more.
Vendor spaces for the Historic Blountville Flea Market and Yard Sale are $25, first-come, first-serve basis… Better hurry! Pre-registration and fees are required by Thursday, September 5, 2019. Don’t miss this one!
