38 Special
After five decades, 38 SPECIAL continues to bring their signature blast of Southern rock to over 100 cities a year, thrilling thousands of fans with the explosive power of their live shows. Their Gold and Platinum album awards stand as a testament to the endurance of this legendary powerhouse.
With sales exceeding 20 million, the band is best known for arena-rock radio staples like โHold On Loosely,โ โRockinโ Into the Night,โ โCaught Up in You,โ โFantasy Girl,โ โChain Lightninโ,โ and โSecond Chanceโโtimeless hits immediately recognizable from their opening chords and still going strong on airwaves today. Guitarist/vocalist and founding member Don Barnes says itโs all about maintaining that live intensity: โWe never wanted to be one of those bands that had maybe gotten a little soft or complacent over the years. Weโre a team, and itโs always been kind of an unspoken rule that we donโt slack up, we stack up. We go out there every night to win.โ
Now celebrating five decades, 38 SPECIAL is proud to present their 50 Year Legacy Tour, honoring their Southern rock roots with their multigenerational fanbase.
