Appalachian Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Tournament
Visit Kingsport is happy to welcome back the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women’s Volleyball Tournament. The 2025 bracket is set, and Columbia International is the No. 1 seed.
The 10-team, single-elimination tournament begins this Thursday, November 13 at MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center and runs through Saturday, November 15.
Tickets can be purchased online byย clicking hereย or at the door. All matches will also be streamed live through the AAC website.

Columbia International, Johnson, and Reinhardt all tied for the regular-season championship with a 17-2 league record and 11.5 points and are regular-season tri-champions. By virtue of the tie-breaker system, Columbia International is the No. 1 seed and receives the conference’s automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship Tournament as the regular-season champion.
The AAC has a second automatic berth to award, which will go to the tournament champion.
Teams were divided into two seven-team divisions. A team receives a half-point for winning a match within its division and one point for a win over a team from the other division. In all, the maximum number of points a team can earn is 13.
Here are the tournament seeds:
- Columbia International (SC) (21-6, 17-2 AAC) – 11.5 points*
- Johnson (TN) (30-6, 17-2 AAC) – 11.5 points*
- Reinhardt (GA) (27-6, 17-2 AAC) – 11.5 points*
- Pikeville (KY) (18-12, 15-4 AAC) – 10.5 points
- Brenau (GA) (15-12, 12-7 AAC) – 8 points**
- Tennessee Wesleyan (TN) (20-11, 12-7) – 8 points**
- Union Commonwealth (KY) (11-18, 11-8 AAC) – 7.5 points
- Spartanburg Methodist (SC) (13-19, 8-11 AAC) – 5 points***
- Bluefield (VA) (11-13, 7-12 AAC) – 5 points***
- Milligan (TN) (8-25, 6-13 AAC) – 4.5 points
*-Columbia International, Johnson, and Reinhardt all finished with a 17-2 conference record and 11.5 points. Columbia International went 2-1 against Johnson and Reinhardt, while Johnson went 1-1 and Reinhardt went 1-2, giving Columbia International the No. 1 seed. Since Johnson defeated Reinhardt during the regular season, it is the No. 2 seed, and Reinhardt is the No. 3 seed.
**-Brenau earned the No. 5 seed over Tennessee Wesleyan since it won the head-to-head matchup.
***-Spartanburg Methodist and Bluefield both collected 5 points, but Spartanburg Methodist won the head-to-head matchup to earn the No. 8 seed.
