Believe in Bristol Presents Sip’n’Stroll

Bristol, TN/VA (January 26, 2024) — On Friday, February 2, 2024, Downtown Bristol businesses will host their second First Friday event of the year: Sip’n’Shop! Guests of this month’s First Friday event are invited to indulge in an evening of romance and retail therapy. Each participating business will offer a complimentary beverage tasting and one-night only specials up and down State Street. With love filling the air just in time for Valentine’s Day, attendees can peruse a diverse selection of shops, perhaps discovering the perfect gifts for their special someone. Sip’n’Shop has something for everyone–whether they’re looking for a romantic evening downtown or a night on the town shopping with gal pals.

As with previous First Friday programming, guests may pick up a passport at any of our participating establishments and try them all, or simply come to relish just one of the many offerings available. Believe in Bristol asks that guests use the hashtag #FirstFridaysBristol and/or turn in their completed passport at a participating establishment for chances to win a downtown prize pack after the event’s conclusion. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage tastings will be available. Alcoholic tastings will require valid ID.

• Misty Mountain Designs – Sale on Rose Quartz Sterling Silver jewelry and complimentary coffee and tea

• HollerHouse – Free sticker with purchase, Flame Elemental: a group art exhibit,  and sparkling cider and snacks

• Cheap Thrills Records – 20% off all collectibles and wine tasting and light snacks

• A Work of Art Gallery & Gifts – 15% off entire store and beverage tasting

• Studio 6 –  10% off Spring 2024 preview and wine tasting

• Cranberry Lane & Southern Churn – 20% off “Just a Small Town” t-shirts and Prediction Punch, a southern coffee punch (located at Cranberry Lane)

This event is free to the public, though there is a suggested one-time donation of $5 with the proceeds supporting Believe in Bristol, the nonprofit Main Street Organization for Historic Downtown Bristol, TN/VA.
