Art D’Vine Returns for September First Friday in Historic Downtown Bristol
On Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., downtown will be filled with art lovers as several galleries and some local favorites join together to host another Art D’Vine event! This art walk offers patrons the chance to gain after-hours access to merchants, sample delicious refreshments, and enjoy a range of works from artists across the region.
As with the previous gallery hops, participants are invited to stroll around Historic Downtown Bristol, stopping and enjoying all that our downtown has to offer! This Art D’Vine will include Cascade Draft House, Benjamin Walls Gallery, Axe and Ale House, Winslow Savage Millinery, Cheap Thrills Records, and The Bristol Boo-tique as hosts. Each of the galleries will feature varieties of wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverages for sampling in addition to the art on display.
As an added bonus, both Theatre Bristol and Paramount Bristol have special, one night only offers, available to First Friday participants. Theatre Bristol is offering $5 off tickets to any performance of their new show “The Mockingbird Sings” (Sept. 6-8 & 11-12) to anyone who presents an Art D’Vine passport at their ticket window prior to 7pm on Friday. The Paramount is also offering a discount of $5 off each ZOSO – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience ticket (Sept. 6) at walk-up AND a voucher for a free beverage to their next Paramount show (which can be redeemed the same night).
First Friday fun doesn’t stop with the Art D’Vine art walk; several retail businesses will be open late for after-hours shopping! As always, keep a lookout for other opportunities to support more small businesses along your First Friday stroll.
This event is free to the public, though there is a suggested one-time donation of $5 with the proceeds supporting the work of the Arts & Entertainment District of Historic Downtown Bristol, TN/VA.
