us for an unforgettable weekend of high-speed action. The 2023 Pro Am winner, Trevor August, racing
for Milligan University, is planing to return to defend his championship. Two weeks prior to this event
he will be racing in Pro National Championship in Charleston, West Virginia.

About Carter County Omnium: The Carter County Omnium is an annual bicycle racing event that
showcases the best of Carter County and Elizabethton. Bringing together professional and amateur
cyclists alike. With its three races, including a climbing road race, a time trial, and a criterium, it offers
a diverse and challenging experience. 2024 is the 40 th Roan Groan. The course, which features a
category 1 climb of 7.4 miles, is incredibly challenging, reminiscent of the Col d'Aspin in the Pyrenees.
The Pro 1-2 field's additional loops on Simerly Creek Rd adds even more climbing, making it
comparable to a stage of the Tour de France. There are various race distances and categories to
accommodate different skill levels.
