Saturday, December 1, 2018 – Christmas in Historic Blountville

• 10 AM to 6 PM, Blountville Christmas Market.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Blountville Library at Blountville Methodist Church Family Life Center. Santa will be on hand for family photos for $5.
• 10 AM  to 4 PM, Old Deery Inn Christmas Tours. Musical performances by Canjoe John.  Sabine Hill 18th Century Dancers will perform from 1 PM to 2 PM.
• 10 AM to 4 PM, Quilt Show at Blountville Presbyterian Church
• 3 PM and 7 PM, Blountville Baptist Church presents Spirit of Christmas dinner and play. Tickets are $12 and go on sale November 2 and sell out quickly. This year’s play is “The Johnsons Almost Missed Christmas Again!”  For additional information, please call (423) 323-8033.
• Cub Scout Pack 215, Boy Scout Troop 113 and Old Fashion Country Kitchen will be serving hot dogs, sweets and desserts along with kettle corn during the day in the Rutledge House.

Thursday, December 6, 2018 – Christmas in Historic Blountville

• 4:30 PM, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for new sign at Heritage Tourism Information Center (formerly Old Sheriff’s Home), at corner of Hwy. 394 and Blountville Bypass.  Anticipated opening date for Information Center is Spring 2019.
• 6:00 PM, Historic Blountville Christmas Tree Lighting and Victim’s Tree Lighting at the old Sullivan County Courthouse, with performances by the Blountville Middle School Choir under the direction of Darren Malcolm.

Friday, December 7, 2018 – Christmas in Historic Blountville

• 7 PM, Appalachian Express Chorus Benefit Concert at Blountville Baptist Church. Hot cider at church pavilion following the concert. Suggested donation is $10.

Saturday, December 8, 2018 – Christmas in Historic Blountville

• 1 PM to 4 PM, Old Deery Inn Christmas Tours
• 2 PM, annual Blountville Ruritan Christmas Parade, downtown Blountville. Lineup begins at 1 PM at Keystone Drive.
