Performer and professional liar Clare Muireann Murphy has been on the world storytelling scene since 2006. Renowned for her wit, verve and lively physicality on stage, she has performed all over the world, from the Globe Theatre London to the Toronto Storytelling Festival. Murphy has been a guest lecturer at universities in London and the U.S., consulted with major companies, and was awarded the Social Entrepreneurship Ireland award for her work with storytelling and marginalized communities. “Clare Muireann Murphy’s beautiful lilting Irish voice was in stark contrast to the darkly humorous stories she told us, and her first-rate comic physicality only served to enhance her storytelling.” – Everything Theatre
