St. Valentine’s Day in Colonial America wasn’t filled with boxed chocolates and long stem roses. Join Museum Curatorial Assistant Chad Bogart to take a closer look at some unique 18th century Valentine’s Day traditions and superstitions. Also, learn how to make three different colonial era valentine gifts for your sweetheart; a puzzle purse, a heart-in-hand, and a basket weave heart.
