In the 18 th century, having light after sundown meant keeping a good supply of candles or other sources of light such as fat
lamps, betty lamps, cruises, and more. Museum Curator Chad Bogart will be on hand in the visitor center lobby displaying
a collection of 18 th century lighting devices including reproductions and original pieces. Drop in and learn more, it’s sure
to be an “illuminating” experience!
