Downtown Johnson City: May 4th Sip Shop Stroll

Downtown Johnson City, TN, April 25, 2022—Connect Downtown Johnson City is excited to announce a
fun new twist on an annual event! Join us on May 4 th as we pair up with The Goose Chase for their May
the 4 th Be With You 4K in the downtown district. With this partnership, Connect Downtown is bringing
back Sip, Shop, and Stroll but adding a theme! Sip, Shop, and Stroll is coming to downtown Johnson City-
Star Wars style!

Participants will walk around downtown from 5-9PM to see their favorite Star Wars characters, shop
with our 16+ participating downtown merchants and enjoy complimentary beverages/snacks (Star Wars
themed). Each downtown business will offer special in-store discounts and/or promotions that are
exclusive to Sip, Shop, and Stroll participants.

To participate, you can purchase your tickets at downtownjc.com/sip. Tickets are $15 and include a
limited edition downtown branded wine tumbler with lid. Participants are encouraged to take their
tumbler around to each stop to enjoy their complimentary drinks. Each participant will also be entered
to win raffles from participating merchants after the event. Raffle winners will be announced on
Downtown Johnson City’s social media.

Check-in will be offered day of ONLY. You can check-in/pick-up your items on Wednesday, May 4 from 4-
6:30PM at the Johnson City Sign (outside – 120 Commerce St).
