Fight the Cold and Flu Season with Fire Cider –Mountain Harvest Kitchen hosts HERBalachia
‘Tis the season to strengthen your immune system and keep the cold and flu away! Join Camille Cody, Herbalist and Farmer with Grand Oak Farms, in exploring how to make fire cider from scratch for improving digestion and metabolism, building immunity, as well as improving circulation that will keep you and your loved ones well this winter!
We will discuss health and medicinal benefits of our ingredients: ginger, horseradish, garlic, onion, hot pepper, turmeric, lemon, and apple cider vinegar. We will taste samples, then make our own jar of cider to take home along with a copy of the general recipe. Supplies are included. Take home jar of Fire Cider and recipe!
