The Flying J’s is a group of well-known musicians from upper East Tennessee, all of whom share a love of classic county music. You’ll hear songs that date all the way back to Hayride Days and the early days of the Grand Ole Opry and always spiced up with a LOT of down home humor! Their individual backgrounds include everything from school teachers to a retired city Mayor, to a hotdog vendor and retired road musician. John Price, John Brown, Johnny Greer, Chip McClain, and Matt Hurd bring the good times and memories to any stage they play.

Plus they love to promote young musicians. Some of you remember they brought us Classy and Grassy when they were teenagers, and they have done very well on the bluegrass circuit. This show, they are bringing us The Fabulous Sterling Sisters. Here is what John Brown says:

“They are three very talented ladies whose vocal blend is nothing short of remarkable,” Brown said. “Their song selections will be in keeping with classic hits of the times. ‘Can’t Help My Self (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch),’ ‘Leavin’ on Your Mind,’ ‘Don’t You Feel Like Crying’ and ‘Crazy’ are just a few tunes you might hear.”

The Fabulous Sterling Sisters consist of Laree McMurray, Audrea Coffey and Vanna Gilliam. “They have that special blend that you’re going to love,” Brown said. “And the song selection will take you back to that special time in your life when life was good and full of love and good times. The girls are very excited to be a part of this great event and are looking forward to sharing their music with you. Band leader Johnny Greer assembled these three great talents. These ladies are all well-known singers in their own right, and their harmonies are to die for.”
