History Happy Hour

Join speaker Dr. Rene Rodgers for her presentation, “Not Their First Rodeo: An Exploration of Black Country Music” at the Chester Inn Museum’s History Happy Hour on Thursday, July 18 at6:30 p.m. This program takes place in the Chester Inn Museum’s board room. A live stream will also be available on the Chester Inn Museum’s Facebook page.

There is a long tradition of Black country music, and this talk will explore some of those stories, highlighting the more nuanced history of this American genre. Dr. Rodgers is the Head Curator at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol.

The program is free and open to the public.
