Jonesborough Storytellers Guild: Graveyard Tales
Graveyard Tales Returns to Rocky Mount on August 3
Real? Imagined? Who knows? Creepy tales unfold from within the graveyards of Jonesborough, famous for its storytellers and ghosts, with the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild on Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. at Rocky Mount State Historic Site.
The Guild is the oldest continuing group of storytellers in the nation, and celebrates 25 years with a special version of Graveyard Tales focused on scary stories the ghosts of Jonesboroughβs graveyards must tell.

Graveyard Tales will take place on Saturday, August 3 at 7 p.m. at Rocky Mount
Historic Site, located at 200 Hyder Hill Road in Piney Flats.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for students. Tickets can be purchased at Jonesborough.com/tickets, or by calling the Jonesborough Visitors Center at 423-753-1010. Cash will only be accepted at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis. Graveyard Tales is not recommended for children under 12 and sign language interpretation will be provided.
