Jonesborough: Veterans Day Celebration
Jonesborough to host Veterans Day Celebration
The Town of Jonesborough will host their Veterans Day Celebration on Saturday, Novem
Activities will include a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Washington County Courthouse steps at 11:11 a.m. which will include distinguished speakers and veterans, the Daniel Boone ROTC and also a patriotic performance by the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre. The Appalachian Express Chorus vocal concert will be on the courthouse steps at noon.
Veteran owned and operated vendors and resource booths will be located on the East side of the Courthouse and will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A free hotdog lunch for veterans and their families will be provided by Main Street Café & Catering and Ingles of Jonesborough at the Courthouse at noon while supplies last.
Local merchants will offer discounts for veterans in their stores as well.
In the event of rain, the ceremony will move inside the International Storytelling Center.
