Kingsport: Twlight Alive Concert Series
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Friday, repeating until July 19, 2024
One of the region’s most popular summer concert series, Twilight Alive, returns to downtown Kingsport tomorrow, Friday, May 31st, helping kick off summer in Kingsport.
This year’s concert series includes eight weeks of free live music in the downtown area, including our annual Red, White and BOOM Celebration on Saturday, July 6.
Friday night concerts begin at 7 p.m. at the 100 block of Broad Street and are all free events.
Opening the Twilight Alive Series on the Cardinal Glass Industries Stage is Nashville Yacht Club Band. Nashville Yacht Club Band, aka NYC, is an 8-piece tribute to the pop and r&b sounds of the 1970s and 80s. With dazzling, note-perfect renditions of your favorite smooth party hits, audiences can expect a unique collection of vintage AM Gold, roller disco classics and timeless dance floor staples performed by some of Music City’s most captivating players and singers!
The Twilight Alive Summer Concert Series lineup is: Nashville Yacht Club Band (May 31), Smokey Jones and The 3 Dollar Pistols (June 7), Lisa and the E-Lusion Band (June 14), Departure, The Journey Tribute Band (June 21), KISS ARMY (June 28), Flatline Band (July 12) and Conch Republic (July 19 at 8 p.m. as part of the Fun Fest kickoff).
Red, White and BOOM features The Marshall Tucker Band, with openers The Cleverlys and Donnie and the Dry Heavers on Saturday, July 6 beginning at 5 p.m. This event occurs on Main Street in the Centennial Park area, ending with fireworks at approximately 9:45 p.m.
