Lighting of the Tunnel
An event every 6 months that begins at 7:00 pm on day Last of the month, repeating indefinitely
Come and see the 850 foot long tunnel lit at night. Listen to local entertainment perform at the mouth of the tunnel and view Stock Creek running through the tunnel. Keep your ears open because you may hear and see a train. Roast a marshmallow over the campfire. The entertainment will get your hands clappen and toes a tappen. Cost is $4 per vehicle and the cost for the chairlift is $3 per person. Children 6 and under are free. August 30th Mr. Kilgore Jr. and Friends; September 27th Mr. Kilgore Jr. and Friends; October 25th Greene County Possum Mashers. Taking place at the chairlift within Natural Tunnel State Park.
