Visit Kingsport to co-host Milligan Mountain Madness Volleyball Tournament

Milligan Mountain Madness returns in 2026 for its 19^th year. This year, Visit Kingsport is excited to partner with Milligan University to co-host the event. The volleyball tournament will take place from August 20^th until the 22^nd at the Tribe Athletic Complex in Kingsport.

A total of 10 teams from seven states will be in attendance. Teams include: Milligan University (TN), Bryan College (TN), University of Tennessee Southern (TN), Tennessee Wesleyan University (TN), Carolina University (NC), Indiana University Southeast (IN), Andrew College (GA), Spartanburg Methodist College (SC), Blue Mountain Christian University (MS) and Ave Maria University (FL).

Thursday, August 20:

5:00 PM – Milligan University vs Andrew College

5:00 PM – Indiana University Southeast vs Tennessee Wesleyan University

7:30 PM – Milligan University vs Indiana University Southeast

7:30 PM – Andrew College vs Tennessee Wesleyan University

Friday, August 21:
12:00 PM – Milligan University vs Carolina University

12:00 PM – Indiana University Southeast vs Spartanburg Methodist College

2:30 PM – Bryan College vs Ave Maria University

2:30 PM – University of Tennessee Southern vs Spartanburg Methodist College

5:00 PM – University of Tennessee Southern vs Carolina University

5:00 PM – Blue Mountain Christian University vs Indiana University Southeast

7:30 PM – Milligan University vs Ave Maria University

7:30 PM – Bryan College vs Blue Mountain Christian University

Saturday, August 22:
9:30 AM – Ave Maria University vs University of Tennessee Southern

9:30 AM – Spartanburg Methodist College vs Carolina University

12:00 PM – Andrew College vs Ave Maria University

12:00 PM – Spartanburg Methodist College vs Blue Mountain Christian University

2:30 PM – University of Tennessee Southern vs Bryan College

2:30 PM – Carolina University vs Blue Mountain Christian University

4:30 PM – Bryan College vs Andrew College

Additionally, each team will have one or more honorees selected to join the Milligan Mountain Madness All-Tournament Team. Those athletes will be announced at the conclusion of the tournament.

“We’re excited to welcome the Milligan Mountain Madness Volleyball Tournament to Kingsport,” said Sarah McCartt, Visit Kingsport’s Marketing and Events Services Coordinator. “This is our first time co-hosting the tournament, and we can’t wait to grow our partnership with Milligan University.”

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students each day. A tournament pass can also be purchased for the entire weekend. Those are $25 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets will be available on site only. Tribe Athletic Complex is located at 2533 N John B Dennis Highway, Kingsport, Tennessee 37660.
