Quest chronicles 10 years in the life of a family in North Philadelphia. The vérité filming style provides an intimate connection with the family as they try to make a positive impact in their neighborhood through the use of their home-based music studio and working at a local homeless shelter. The film’s mix of joyful situations and unexpected crises creates a very real picture of life in North Philadelphia. “I’ve rarely seen a movie about citizenship as quietly eloquent as Quest,” says The New York Times.
