Restaurant Week in Kingsport

The Downtown Kingsport Association (DKA) is inviting the community to eat, drink and explore Downtown Kingsport during Downtown Kingsport Restaurant Week, October 5–11.

As part of Tennessee Main Street Restaurant Week, Downtown Kingsport is joining Main Street communities across Tennessee in celebrating the restaurants, cafés, breweries, distilleries, bakeries, coffee shops and specialty food businesses that help make the downtown district unique.

With more than 30 downtown businesses participating, Restaurant Week will showcase the diversity and creativity of Downtown Kingsport’s food and beverage scene. Throughout the week, participating businesses will offer featured menu items, drinks, specials and unique experiences designed to encourage residents and visitors to dine local and support downtown businesses.

“Downtown Kingsport has an incredible variety of locally owned food and beverage businesses, and Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to put the spotlight on them,” said Robin Cleary, senior director of the Downtown Kingsport Association. “We want people to get out, try something new, revisit an old favorite and experience all that Downtown Kingsport has to offer.”

Explore Downtown with the Restaurant Week Digital Passport

A Downtown Kingsport Restaurant Week digital passport will feature each participating business along with its featured Restaurant Week items or experiences. Community members can use the passport to plan their Restaurant Week adventures and check in at participating locations throughout the week.

Those who visit and check in on the passport with least four participating businesses during Restaurant Week will be entered into a drawing for prizes.

The digital passport provides an easy way for participants to discover new places while supporting the local businesses that contribute to the vibrancy of Downtown Kingsport.  To download the passport, visit downtownkingsport.org or visit the Downtown Kingsport Restaurant Week event on DKA’s Facebook page.

Downtown Kingsport Restaurant Week is designed to be more than a week of dining specials—it is an opportunity to shop, dine, explore and celebrate the locally owned businesses that make downtown special.

Restaurant Week in Jonesborough

Main Street Jonesborough is excited to announce Restaurant Week, October 5 to 11, a week-long celebration highlighting locally owned restaurants and encouraging residents and visitors to explore, dine and discover the unique flavors of Downtown Jonesborough.

Restaurant Week is presented in partnership with Tennessee Main Street Restaurant Week, joining Main Street communities across Tennessee in celebrating and supporting locally owned restaurants and small businesses.

Jonesborough is proud to highlight seven locally owned restaurants located along Main Street and Boone Street: Olde Towne Pancake House, Boone Street Market, Corner Company Beverage Emporium, Neuma Coffee, The Opossum’s Tale, Main Street Cafe and Catering, and Jackson’s Prime.

Throughout the week, residents and visitors are encouraged to dine local and support Jonesborough’s restaurants. Participating restaurants will offer special menus, discounts, and other unique opportunities for guests to try something new and enjoy their favorite local spots. From specially created menus to percentage-off promotions, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience the flavors of Main Street. Be sure to follow along throughout the week and watch for special offerings from each participating restaurant!

To make Restaurant Week even more fun, we’re launching the Passport to Flavor Challenge. Participants can choose between a physical passport or a digital PDF passport as they explore participating restaurants throughout the week. Guests can collect stamps by visiting participating locations and will receive a prize for participating in the challenge.

Physical passports can be picked up at the Jonesborough Visitors Center, located at 117 Boone Street. The Visitors Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Physical passports will also be available for pickup at participating restaurants beginning Monday, October 5.

Participants may also download a digital PDF version of the passport online at Restaurant Week – Town of Jonesborough. Passports do not need to be fully completed to receive a prize. Participants simply need to show their passport and stamps documenting their participation at the Jonesborough Visitors Center between October 12 and October 17. Once participation has been verified, participants will receive their prize and may keep their physical passport.
