Rogersville Great Chili Cook-Off
The First Community Bank Great Chili Cook-off will be one of the first events to kick off the 39 th
annual Heritage Days weekend. It will be held in conjunction with the Cruise-In on Friday
evening, October 12, 2018. Starting at 3:00 p.m. in the Hale Springs Inn Courtyard, teams will
gather to cook and create their best chili recipe. Beginning at 5:00 p.m., the public is invited to
taste samples from each participating team. The charge is $5 for a bowl and spoon. A beer
garden with live music will also be hosted during this time. Those sampling are invited to cast
their vote for the People’s Choice award. Overall judging will begin at 5:30 p.m. and winners
announced soon after.
Individuals interested in entering a team may obtain information, rules/guidelines and an entry
form at The Rogersville Review, The Depot, Hale Springs Inn, Mountain Star Mall, Local Artist
Gallery, U-Save Pharmacy and First Community Bank. Entry forms may also be obtained at
