Santa on the Caboose
The Chuckey Depot Railroad Museum invites all “Believers” to visit Santa on the Depot’s big red caboose on Saturday, December 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. Santa will spend time with your children and grandchildren and offer photo opportunities and a treat. Don’t miss this free event.
The Southern Railway X450 is a beautifully restored vintage caboose that saw work with the Southern Railway on whose tracks still run right past the Chuckey Depot.
The Chuckey Depot Railroad Museum is located at 110 S. Second Avenue in Jonesborough.

About the Chuckey Depot Railroad Museum: The Chuckey Depot’s original home was just down the road in Chuckey, Tennessee, and now sits within WC Rowe Park in Jonesborough. In an effort to preserve the building, it was dismantled and re-erected in Jonesborough, where it opened as a museum in October 2017.
