Second Annual Sensory Easter Hunt
The Town of Jonesborough Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce its Second Annual Sensory Easter Hunt, taking place on Saturday, April 4, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Lincoln Park, located at 307 E Main St. This free community event requires no registration and is designed to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and sensory-friendly Easter celebration for children and families of all abilities.
The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with the Sensory Easter Egg Hunt beginning promptly at 2:30 p.m. The hunt is structured to create a calmer, more supportive environment than traditional egg hunts. With smaller group participation and a predictable setting, children can enjoy the experience comfortably and at their own pace.
In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy inflatables, a fun-filled bubble party, Easter-themed crafts, and opportunities to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
The Sensory Easter Egg Hunt provides a wonderful opportunity for families to gather, celebrate the spring season, and enjoy time together in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere at Lincoln Park. Families are encouraged to bring baskets and arrive early to take part in all the activities before the 2:30 p.m. egg hunt.
