Star-Spangled Independence Day Celebration
July 4 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Believe in Bristol is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Star-Spangled Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring a wide array of family-friendly activities, live music, and, for the first time since 2019, a dazzling fireworks display to close out the evening’s festivities.
The event will kick off with a patriotic parade, taking place on Bristol’s iconic State Street at 5:00 PM.
Following the parade, Anderson Park, located at 341 Martin Luther King Boulevard, will transform into a bustling hub of entertainment. Families will be delighted to discover a fantastic assortment of kids’ activities, carnival-style games, and free inflatables. Food and beverage enthusiasts will have their taste buds satisfied by a wide variety of food trucks and a refreshing beer garden.
A veteran appreciation will take place at 6:30 PM, along with additional patriotic community performances. The Border Bash concert series will take center stage at 7:00 PM, featuring two incredible bands. Fritz and Co. and Scythian will perform, serving up foot-stomping folk tunes and high-energy rock anthems for attendees to enjoy and dance the night away.
As darkness falls, the Star-Spangled Independence Day Celebration will reach its climactic finale with a mesmerizing fireworks display at approximately 10:00 PM. Special thank you to the Cities of Bristol, TN and Bristol, VA for sponsoring the patriotic display.
