Watauga Lake Winery: Pre-Harvest Celebration
WE WILL SHARE IT IN THE GRAPEVINES
Join us for our pre-harvest celebration.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 18 – Beginning at 1 P.M.
Our winemaker, Wayne will take you through the vineyard and demonstrate how he tests for acid and sugar content of the grapes to determine when it is the optimum time to harvest the fruit! There is no charge to tour the vineyard.
Blackberry Cobbler (made from the vineyard blackberries), Ice Cream and, of course, wine will be available for purchase. Bring a bucket if you want to pick any blackberries to take home – weather and bird permitting!
Tours will take place on the hour beginning at 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
