World Snow Day Pop-in Family Workshop

Stop by for some “cool” fun in honor of World Snow Day! Learn how temperature and humidity relate to snowflake shapes, why it’s so quiet when there is snow on the ground, and how a meteorologist turned photographer used a camera to change the way we look at snowflakes forever. Then, experiment with polymer snow, similar to what is used on movie sets, and take it home to use again and again. Whip up some peppermint scented snow dough and discover printmaking with a unique snowflake art masterpiece. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Materials fee of $5 per person for members, $7 per person for non-members. While supplies last. Contains small parts not suitable for children under 3. General admission fees apply.
