Ready for a lovely springtime HIKING ADVENTURE? Join us as we hike UP into nearby Bays Mountain Park from Laurel Run Park. This will be a great chance to discover the amazing diversity of wildflowers and native trees. It will also be a chance to view two small but dramatic waterfalls.

Please note that this is a long and rather difficult 8 mile loop hike. Participants must be prepared for unbridged creek crossings, some soggy trails, several steep climbs, and the possibility of stinging nettles, black bears and venomous snakes. Wear long pants and sturdy hiking footwear. Bring raingear, and plenty of food and water.

We’ll meet at the Warriors’ Path (former) pool parking lot, departing PROMPTLY at 7:30 AM to drive to the trailhead. It’s about a half hour drive to the trailhead.
