Winter Garden Seminar – Heritage Gardening
“Heirloom Gardening” is our 35th annual Winter Garden Seminar. Speakers will be members of the Sustainable Mountain Agricultural Center.

Heirloom fruits and vegetables are an essential (and tasty) part of our Appalachian culture! Gain new insights into the importance of heirloom fruits and vegetables. Learn to identify, collect, and sustain family and community heirloom seeds and plants. The heirloom market is a flower in the bud stage, just waiting to blossom. You and your garden can be a part of this growing movement to protect and share a precious living and historical resource.
Spend a wintry Saturday Morning learning how you and your garden can become an important part of this effort. Find out how you can keep alive an important part of our region’s heritage.
The seminar will be held at the Recreation Building on Duck Island, at Warriors’ Path State Park.
