Join us as we kick off the spring season with a Ranger led hike! This event will coincide with the 250 th anniversary
commemoration of the Transylvania Purchase. Hear the story of America’s largest private land purchase as you pass
through the very grounds on which it occurred. This hike will begin inside Fort Watauga. Program is subject to
cancellation due to inclement weather.
