Erwin Farmers Market
An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Friday, repeating until August 29, 2025
RISE Erwin is thrilled to announce the return of the Erwin Farmers Market from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in downtown Erwin. This community tradition will take place every Friday evening through August.
This year’s market boasts a record 22 full-time vendors along with a rotating selection of part-time vendors, offering everything from locally grown produce and handmade goods to home-baked treats and artisan crafts. Food trucks will be on-site each week, including favorites like Pate’s BBQ and Kona Ice.
“We’re excited to bring our community together once again for a summer full of fresh food, fun, and connection,” said Meisha Turner, President of RISE Erwin. “The Farmers Market is more than a place to shop—it’s where neighbors gather, kids play, and families make memories.”

Farmacy Fitness – Shoppers can “walk a market mile” to earn $3 in produce tokens to be redeemed at the market, thanks to the support of Clinchfield Credit Union.

SNAP Benefits Accepted – The market proudly accepts SNAP/EBT and will double the value toward fresh produce and homemade foods. Credit and debit cards are also welcome.

Special Events – Community Independence Day Celebration, Healthy Unicoi Resource Fair, Back to School Party, and Community Pep Rally
To add to the festivities, June 6 also marks the return of the Nolichucky Opry and First Friday celebrations downtown—making it the perfect evening to explore, enjoy, and celebrate summer in Erwin.
