More than 40 years after its inaugural production of “TheNutcracker,” Bristol Ballet continues the tradition of this beloved ballet, while adding refreshing changes to keep things interesting. This year, Bristol Ballet is partnering with the Sullivan County Animal Shelter for theSaturdaymatinee to present “Pupcracker,” a viewing of doggies looking for their furever homes, in the lobby of the theatre. There will be a few four legged cast members in the show, as well as new and returning professional guest artists, a new way for Clara to travel home, and maybe even an appearance by someone made famous by the 1927 Bristol Sessions! Local dancers and community people continue to be the heart and soul of this production; we look forward to seeing you in the audience and spreading joyful holiday spirit.
