Bays Mountain Park: Owl Prowl

What lurks in the night at Bays Mountain Park? Join us for the Owl Prowl, where we’ll track down an elusive nocturnal predator that calls Bays Mountain home: the owl!
Owl Prowls begin with a lively program where guests get to meet live, rehabilitated owls at the Raptor Center. Then the group will go out along a trail in search for wild owls. The hike will involve an easy-paced guided walk through the park. The group will stop periodically and listen while the park naturalist calls in owls.
This unique hike is open to all ages, however it is dark and on uneven terrain, so we ask parents not to bring children who need to be carried or who are not steady walkers. Due to low light, dogs are not allowed on our owl prowls or night hikes. Please dress appropriately for the weather and activity.
Please meet at the Raptor Center before the program begins at 8 p.m. Social distancing practices will be required, along with face coverings. You must preregister at eventbrite.com (see ticket link). Tickets are $3 for non-members or free for members
