Sycamore Shoals State Park: Kids Militia

2:00 p.m. “Kids militia” – Join Matthew Simerly in this fun, hand on activity for kids from
5 to 12. We will meet in the fort where they will learn about the role Militia units had in the
Revolutionary War and then lead them through the basic drill that a Militia man would learn.
This program will be about 30 minutes long for a group of about 15 kids' give or take one or two.
