This property also houses a stunning Glass Wedding Chapel overlooking the Appalachian Mountains near the town of Greeneville. Owner Pam Sadler had a previous life as an event planner, and will help you make any special event memorable. An entire wedding can be planned from her website, including a rented llama for your big day! If you aren’t looking to get married, any of their eight cabins can be rented for a getaway along the Nolichucky River. Pam prides herself on offering personalized customer service, a beautiful location, and family-friendly facilities. Plus, they are pet-friendly!

Need a night out on the town? Londons Lofts is the place to stay in the heart of Johnson City. These rentals have been stunningly remade with the vintage charm of old architecture, but the convenience of modern amenities such as wi-fi, covered bicycle parking, onsite gym, and laundry opportunities. The Lodge is only 500 feet from the South Holston River, making it the perfect destination for a fishing getaway. There is also a smaller budget-friendly cabin on the property, as both are within walking distance to hiking, a boat ramp, off-the-bank fishing, and a third-generation working cattle farm. Access to the road also makes for fun evening walks in the summer, or early morning bike rides. Owners Charles and Dianne Phelps are located on-site and are happy to provide a history of the area, or their favorite local diners. In addition to outdoor activities, you are only 15 minutes away from downtown Bristol,, Bristol Motor Speedway, the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, Hard Rock Casino, and the Pinnacle Shopping Center. Whether you are planning a family getaway or a retreat with friends, you will find plenty of things to do. Or not…if front porch sitting away from the crowds is more your style.
TRANQUILITY REIGNS
Meredith Valley Farm is abundant in beautiful vistas and relaxation. Created in 1965, this farm will transport you back to a simpler time. Located in Elizabethton, this 144 acre farm is owned and operated by sisters-in-law Vera Peters and Janet Meredith. Both former schoolteachers, they make sure that your stay is cozy and memorable. The ladies cater to fishermen and families at their four-cabin property. They also have a farmhouse that was built in 1918 which is available to rent. Be sure to reserve in advance as it does tend to book up quickly, often by previous guests. After you stay at Meredith Valley, you are family and you’ll certainly want to come back and sit a spell.
TAKE ME TO THE RIVER
You won’t be short on activities if you visit this property! Located near the Doe River, this cabin is located on a 100-acre farm complete with cattle, a pony, a goat, and a donkey! There is plenty of outdoor fun within a few miles, including fishing, hiking, biking, and chasing waterfalls. The cabin is beautifully updated and immaculately kept, including high-end appliances in the full kitchen. Owners Kenny and Teresa Smith are only a phone call away, and love chatting with their guests. Be sure to have your morning coffee in a rocking chair on the 8-foot wraparound porch while you enjoy the morning sunrise.
A MUSIC LOVERS PARADISE
If you are visiting Bristol, this Mountain Music loft located downtown is a must-stay! Owner, Karen Hester knows how to make a music lover happy, as the loft includes a vinyl record player and various instruments each guest is welcome to play during their stay. You’ll also be within walking distance of the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, as well as numerous breweries and restaurants. If you happen to stay during Bristol’s Rhythm and Roots Festival, you’ll have a front-row seat to even more live music than you can shake a stick at. Karen has several lofts downtown and a more secluded cabin, if you aren’t into city life.
