StoryTown Radio Show: Appalachian Pot Pouri
StoryTown Radio Show hosts August production themed “Appalachian Pot Pouri”
StoryTown Radio Show will host their next production on Monday, August 28 at 7 p.m. at the McKinney Center, located at 103 Franklin Avenue. This show features stories and words of wisdom collected from neighbors across the Appalachian Highlands.
Joining the cast for the first time is Kasey Williams, a singer-songwriter from East Tennessee who has become a local favorite at places such Brews and Tunes and other regional venues.
Adding some historic flair to the show will be Anne G’Fellers-Mason, the executive director of the Heritage Alliance, sharing some tidbits on Jonesborough history.
Gary Degner will provide fanciful sound effects for the audience. This month, watch Degner try to keep up with the cast as they present him with a “Stump the Soundman” skit.
