250K Tree Day at DMRA
Join us next Saturday, March 23rd at Doe Mountain Recreation Area as we participate in Tennessee’s 250K Tree Day event. We will be doing our part to help the environment in this statewide event to plant 250,000 native trees! NeTREP, Appalachia CARES AmeriCorps, Doe Mountain Recreation Area, Friends of Buffalo Mtn. Trail 29, Mountain Trail Rides Association, Tennessee’s Sierra Club Chapter, and Watauga Watershed Alliance have all partnered for this event.
Meet: DMRA Adventure Center
Time: 1 pm
Just remember, if you plan to participate, you will need to wear long pants, and closed-toed shoes, and gloves if you have them. Also, bring any snacks or water that you might want.
