Blountville Christmas Parade
December 14, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
The annual Blountville Ruritan Christmas Parade will be Saturday, December 14, at 2:00 pm, starting at Oak Street / Keystone Drive on the east side of town and ending at the old Sullivan County courthouse in downtown Blountville.
Line-up for the parade begins about 1:00 pm. Participants should line up on Oak Street, Cherry Street, and Keystone Drive. Stay on one side of the street to allow traffic to continue to pass. Signage will be in place to help with line-up.
For those participating in the parade: Please do not have anyone dressed as Santa Claus. This is confusing to the kids who come to see Santa. The only Santa Claus in the parade is the real one who will be riding the wagon at the end.
Anyone else seen dressed as Santa will be asked to remove their beard/coat/hat or whatever it takes so that they will not be confused with the official Santa.
If you have any questions, please message us and we will try to respond promptly.
