An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, repeating indefinitely
Celebrate Coal Miner’s Day and discover how coal is formed. Check out coal specimens and some coal miner’s gear. Then “dig for coal” with a cookie excavation. Don’t forget to take a trip down the slide through the Katie Ellen Coal Mine when you’re through. (***Allergy Warning: Please note that this program may contain wheat, milk, chocolate, soy, and nut based products.) Program times are 10:00, 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00 and are subject to change.
