Join us for this exciting evening as the story of Little Bighorn unfolds…  Known as Custer’s Last Stand, the Battle of the Little Bighorn was an armed engagement between combined forces of the Lakota and Arapaho tribes and the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army.  The battle, which occurred June 25-26, 1876, near the Little Bighorn River in eastern Montana Territory, was the most prominent action of the Great Sioux War of 1876.
 
Presented by Edwin Cole Bearrs, the event will be held at 7 PM on Nov. 14, 2016, at the Eastman Employee Center at Kingsport.   Born in Billings, Montana, Ed Bearrs is an author, historian, lecturer, tour guide and Chief Historian Emeritus for the National Park Service.  The event is sponsored by the Tri-Cities Civil War Roundtable. Admission is free and open to the general public.
