From unknown wrestlers and tap dancers to the biggest names in show business, the thousands of performers who entertained our far-flung troops during World War II were part of a hilarious and inspiring story of volunteerism and service. Storyteller Dolores Hydock shares stories, pictures, and video excerpts from many of the lesser-known entertainers who brought music, laughter, and a touch of the familiar to US military personnel in the 1940s. –With a special preview from the Jonesborough Repertory Theater’s annual USO Show.
