Elizabethton Christmas Parade

Parade Theme & Marshal
This year’s theme, “Stories of Christmas”, invites participants to bring to life the heartwarming tales, traditions, and magic of the holiday season. Floats can showcase everything from classic Christmas stories to the traditions and memories that make this time of year so special. Think of your float as a page in the storybook of Christmas!
With a theme centered on “Stories of Christmas,” it is only fitting that this year’s Grand Marshal is our own Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library. The library has long been the heart of storytelling in our community—connecting generations through books, traditions, and the joy of reading.
Entry Fees & Guidelines
Entry applications are online here. Business/Corporations are $60 per entry and Non-profits/Schools Organizations are $40 per entry. Each additional vehicle is $10 with a maximum of 3 additional vehicles allowed per float. This means each float is only allowed 4 total vehicles. If your group has more than 4 vehicles, you will need to register more than once.
A maximum of 100 entries will be allowed to participate. The deadline to apply is December 5 or until maximum capacity of 100 entrants is reached.
