Full Moon Hike

In the late-Spring, evenings are alive on the mountainside at Roan Mountain State Park. Meet a ranger at the Blue 2 Trailhead to join this full moon adventure hike, moderate, 1.6 miles. We will focus on using our 5 senses to discover the forest around us. Each visitor will receive a red-light flashlight to make the most of their night vision (and to take home for future adventures!)
Preregistration and fee of $12 is required for each participant; space is limited. All ages are welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. It may be chilly, dress weather appropriate and wear closed-toe shoes. Please note: parts of this trail are steep.
