Girl Scout Eco Explorer
An Eco Explorer is someone who investigates environmental issues and works to make positive changes to the environment. In this Eco Explorer outing led by instructors from the Nolichucky Outdoor Learning Institute (NOLI) Girl Scouts will be introduced to the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace, learn about ways to help protect our outdoor places, speak to a conservationist, explore environmental issues related to water, and participate in a river clean-up.
Location: NOLI outpost at USA Raft (directions here). We will meet by the NOLI boat shed next to the Boone Cabin. When you come onto the property pass the USA Raft check-in on the right and continue straight until you see the NOLI boat shed on your left. You can park immediately to your left or right.
