Graveyard Tales
Graveyard Tales Returns to Rocky Mount Aug. 6 & 7
Real? Imagined? Who knows? Creepy tales unfold from stories passed down, legends and myths, and things that go bump in the night with the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild on Aug. 6 & 7 at 7 p.m. at Rocky Mount State Historic Site.
The Guild is the oldest continuing group of storytellers in the nation. Graveyard Tales will include scary spooky stories of ghosties, ghoulies, and long-legged beasties. Due to this event’s popularity in the past, two nights of performances will be offered.
Featured storytellers will include:
Molly Catron
Linda Poland
Betty Ann Polaha
Judy “Butterfly” Farlow
Sherri Miller
Guerry McConnel
Steven James
Graveyard Tales will take place on Friday and Saturday, August 6 & 7 at 7 p.m. at Rocky Mount Historic Site, located at 200 Hyder Hill Road in Piney Flats.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for students. Tickets can be purchased at Jonesborough.com/tickets, or by calling the Jonesborough Visitors Center at 423-753-1010.
