Hike to Snakeden Ridge
A 7 mile journey along the rich Flint Creek to the upland trails of Snakeden Ridge.
We will leave from the main parking lot at Noon and spend most of the day in the park enjoying biodiverse streamside to high elevation habitats. This excursion will hike along Rocky Fork Creek, Flint Creek, then we will use the Blockstand Creek Trail to climb in elevation (max. 3,400 ft) onto Snakeden Ridge, and we will return by traveling down Flint Creek. #rockyforkstatepark #getoutsidetn
Don’t forget to wear sturdy shoes/boots & to pack plenty of food, water, and rain gear.

Distance: Approx. 7-miles Round-Trip
Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous
We will Cancel Event if we have forecasted Thunderstorms and/or Winds >15 mph -OR- If we determine the road conditions are impassable due to Winter Weather (Ice and/or excessive snow).
